Michael Ruisi was born and raised in Wading River, NY. From an early age, Michael would go to work with his father to learn the plumbing trade while attending school. Michael was in the Riverhead school district and graduated from Riverhead High School in 2011.
After graduation, Michael enrolled in Suffolk Community College to study business. While in college Michael, was an apprentice under the direction of his father and other master plumbers. As an apprentice, Michael gained valuable knowledge and experience in plumbing, heating and gas work. In 2016, Michael and his father Tony decided to open up Gas Tec Plumbing and Heating.
Michael was married in 2017 and became a father in 2018 when he and his wife welcomed a baby girl. Michael joined the Gappsi team in 2017 and their relationship has grown stronger with each project completed. Michael enjoys working with homeowners on all phases of job whether the work is inside or outside of the home.
